About me

Hi!  I’m Robin Deering and this is Ceci.  I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) and Nationally Certified Canine Massage Therapist (NCCMT).

I have been in veterinary medicine since 2007, earning my degree in Veterinary Technology in 2011 and thus my LVT.  I have worked in general, exotic, mixed and emergency animal practices. As well as Oncology, Internal Medicine & Surgery specialty practices.

Wanting to continue to enhance the human/animal bond, I studied Canine Massage through Canis Bodyworks, earning my NCCMT in 2021.  I am a Fear Free Elite Certified Practitioner and an Instructor for Canis Bodyworks, LLC.  I also am a volunteer massage therapist for Porchlight Animal Sanctuary and the Richmond SPCA.

Ceci was both my dog and my teacher.  Her registered name was “Int CH KRW Asbury Kindred Spirits.”  Ceci came to be part of my family at 4 years-of-age.   She had no enemies - only friends she had yet to meet.  Ceci‘s memory is honored through “Kindred Animal Massage.”
